The Clams is an illustrated novel inspired by real family memories, set in Qingdao, a seaside city in northern China.

Using the clam, a familiar creature along the coast, as a recurring visual motif, the story intertwines its natural journey, from carrying a tiny pearl within its shell, with a love story that spans generations.

Shorelines, streets, old objects, and fragments of personal memory intersClect throughout the illustrations, allowing history and individual lives to reflect one another. am is both a memory of my parents’ love and a gentle tribute to time, family, and ordinary life.

How Many?   is an interactive seek-and-find picture book currently in development, designed for young readers who enjoy exploring, observing, and counting.

The main character travels through a series of different imaginative worlds, each filled with rich details, characters, and small visual surprises. At the bottom of each spread, readers are shown how many times a particular character appears in the scene and are invited to find each one, matching the number to what they discover in the illustration.

The book combines observation, searching, and early counting skills, encouraging children to engage with the images through playful and active exploration.

Work in progress.

我喜欢旅游,喜欢见到世界的不同角落,喜欢在旅途中认识各种各样的人,我喜欢画画,所以我的双肩包里永远背着一个本子一支笔和一盒水彩颜料。

I love travelling, discovering different corners of the world, and meeting all kinds of people along the way. I love drawing too, so I always carry a sketchbook, a pen, and a small box of watercolours in my backpack.
